WOOD-RIDGE 18, SADDLE BROOK 1 (at Wood-Ridge): The fourth-seeded Blue Devils scored nine runs in the bottom of the first inning to set the stage against the No. 13 Falcons.

Senior pitcher/shortstop Joe Batcho was the winner with two perfect innings of relief, but also starred at the plate. He had three hits, three RBI and scored four runs.

Senior second baseman Ryan Morrone added a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS 5, MIDLAND PARK 0 (at Midland Park): Ryan Kaverick struck out 14 to power the twelfth-seeded Aviators past the No. 5 Panthers. Kaverick scattered three hits and walked none.

CRESSKILL 9. BELVIDERE 6 (at Belvidere): Senior shortstop Trevor Romeo drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly, highlighting a six-run seventh inning for the 10th-seeded Cougars. Romeo also added a double and a triple.
