Lodi 7, Lyndhurst 6: Bryanna Bigica hit a walk-off single to lift sixth-seeded Lodi to a 7-6 victory over No. 11 Lyndhurst in a North 2, Group 2 first-round softball game Monday.

The Golden Bears scored four runs in the top of the fifth to take a 6-2 lead, but the Rams scored two runs in the bottom of the inning and three more in the bottom of the seventh.

Emma Bernardo started the inning off with a double, then Cheyanna Fuchs reached on an infield single. An error allowed pinch-runner Erin Fallon to score to make it 6-5. Kayla Oakley tied the game with an RBI single, then scored on Bigica’s single up the middle.

Angela Downey had a double and RBI for Lyndhurst, while Monica Laverty, Olivia McMullin and Ava Ruggier each drove in a run.

BUTLER 10, CRESSKILL 0 (at Butler) — Larissa Spellman threw a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts to lead the second-seeded Bulldogs past the No. 15 Cougars.

NEW MILFORD 8, VERONA 4 (at New Milford) — Senior catcher Emily Sailer recorded her 100th career hit during a 2-for-4 performance, while Justine Ricciardelli had three RBI as the sixth-seeded Knights defeated No. 11 Verona. Alexis Monroy also drove in two runs and earned the win in the circle. Sailer and Natalie Miller each had one RBI.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS 2, PARK RIDGE 0 (at Hasbrouck Heights) — No. 14 Park Ridge had the bases loaded with two outs in the seventh, but Jessica Gasparino escaped the jam and earned the save for the No. 3 Aviators.

NORTH ARLINGTON 10, SECAUCUS 8 (at Secaucus) — Jordan Nelson had three RBI, while Arielle Castellanos and Sammi Veloso each had two to help lead No. 11 North Arlington past the sixth-seeded Patriots.

NV/DEMAREST 10, POMPTON LAKES 0 (at Demarest) — Sophomore right-hander Makenzie McGrath pitched a five-inning no-hitter as the second-seeded Norsewomen defeated No. 15 Pompton Lakes. McGrath struck out six batters and didn’t issue a walk.

Rutherford 26, North 13th Street 1: The Lady Bulldogs will host Hackettstown in the next round of the State

Saddle Brook 16, Wood-Ridge 0: Saddle Brook advances to the State Sectional  Quarterfinals for the 20th straight season.
