OFFENSE
Aidan Feulner, Cresskill, Sr., QB
Cresskill erupted offensively in a 56-27 win over New Providence in the first round of the North 1, Group 1 playoffs behind a monster performance from Feulner. The senior QB accounted for more than 300 yards and five touchdowns, completing 14 of 17 passes for 270 yards and 2 TD, while adding 39 yards rushing and three more TDs as the top-seeded Cougars advanced to this week’s semifinals, where they’ll see fourth-seeded Boonton.
DEFENSE
Gus Bickert, Waldwick/Midland Park, Jr., DL
Bickert made six tackles and collected 1.5 sacks in a strong overall defensive effort from Waldwick/Midland Park in the first round of the North 2, Group 2 playoffs. The co-op program advanced with a 14-6 win over Pequannock. Waldwick/Midland Park’s defense has allowed just 76 points in nine games this season.
