Rene White, Hawthorne Christian, sr., F: White became the first Defender in program history to score 100 goals when he had two in an 8-0 win over Palisades Park on Sept. 16. In a 4-1 win over Emerson on Friday he had a goal and an assist. Saturday, he had three goals in a 4-3 win over Elmwood Park, and had two goals and an assist in a 5-0 victory over Cresskill on Monday.
Will Woodfin, Hawthorne Christian, sr., M: Woodfin, who is White’s wrecking partner in the offensive zone and who had 29 goals and 20 assists last season, had three goals and an assist against both Palisades Park and Emerson and one goal and one assist each against Elmwood Park and Cresskill.
Ryan Miller, Pascack Valley, jr., M: Miller had two goals in a 5-1 win over Bergenfield on Thursday. Then he had two goals and an assist in a 5-1 victory over NV/Demarest on Saturday, and had three goals and three assists in a 7-0 win over Teaneck on Monday.
Miles Franklyn, Bergen Catholic, jr., F: Franklyn had two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win over West Essex on Thursday, and had one goal and two assists in a 7-0 victory over St. Joseph on Monday. He has six goals and four assists this season.
Dave Herrera, Garfield, sr., F: Herrera, who has eight goals and three assists this season, had two goals in a 4-0 win over Lodi on Wednesday and three goals and two assists in a 6-1 win over Manchester on Friday. He had the game’s only goal in a win over Elmwood Park on Monday.
