Dwayne Miele ran for 155 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries as Hawthorne defeated Lodi, 40-8, in an NJIC football game Friday night at Hawthorne.


Tommy Walls was 4-for-6 for 100 yards and two TDs, including a 45-yard connection with Ricky Grofsick for the Bears (3-1).


Jesse Asare scored on an 11-yard run for the Rams (2-2) and rushed for the ensuing two-point conversion.


NEW MILFORD 40, RIDGEFIELD 12 (at New Milford): Senior Dante Tobler carried 30 times for 235 yards and three touchdowns to help the Cougars (4-0) handle the Royals (0-4).


Connor Swanson returned an interception 50 yards for a TD and scored on a 30-yard run for New Milford.


CRESSKILL 42, MANCHESTER 6 (at Cresskill): Tom Hollenfer rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns on seven attempts to power the Cougars (2-2) over the Falcons (0-4). Ken Benfante recovered a school-record three fumbles for Cresskill.


Troy Henderson completed six of eight passes for 123 yards and two TDs, one to Jack Zurlini on a 59-yard strike.


Zurlini also returned an interception 50 yards for a score.

SECAUCUS 46, HARRISON 8 (at Harrison):
Jan Castellanos scored touchdowns on five of his seven carries, finishing with 173 yards as the Patriots (3-1) ran past the Blue Tide (0-4).


Jon Jernstedt paced Secaucus’ defense with eight tackles and an interception.

RIDGEFIELD PARK 48, PASCACK HILLS 6 (at Montvale):
Alex Alberque was 7-of-10 for 176 yards and three touchdowns, two to Connor O’Grady, as the Scarlets (3-1) jumped out to a 42-0 lead over the Cowboys (1-3).


Juice Johnson had four receptions for 116 yards and a TD, and had an interception on defense for Ridgefield Park. Mark Alberque added touchdown runs of 5 and 10 yards.

NORTH WARREN 42, PEQUANNOCK 6 (at Blairstown):
Luke Foukas scored on a 30-yard run to prevent the shutout, but the Patriots (3-1) were too much for the Golden Panthers (0-4).
