Oradell– On a milestone night, junior forward Marc Dadika was superb for St. Mary.

Dadika dropped 41 points, including his 1,000th career point in the third quarter, while grabbing 17 rebounds Friday as the Gaels took down River Dell, No. 14 in The Record Top 25, 66-64 in double overtime.

He totaled 11 points in overtime, including a three with 11 seconds remaining to put St. Mary up two in the second extra frame. No other Gael reached double-figures, but Justin Dykstra finished with nine points.

Matt Monagahan led a balanced River Dell scoring attack with 19 points. Jack Capasso, 15 points, Dave Estevez, 15 points, and Nick Sirico, 12 points, helped pace the Golden Hawks.
