NORTH ARLINGTON – If not for a second-inning passed ball, Mike Cerbo would have been perfect.
The Saddle Brook senior hurler faced 22 batters on Monday, tossing a no-hitter in a 3-0 win over North Arlington. He struck out 11, as the passed ball, which came on a strikeout, was the only base runner the righty allowed on the afternoon.
Nick Maricich’s RBI single in the fifth inning proved to be Cerbo’s only run support. Saddle Brook only managed three hits
