* Glen Rock junior DB Tim Ray has an interception in four straight games. Senior WR Tommy Pulzello also caught six passes for 95 yards in the Panthers’ 33-13 victory over Harrison, which is Glen Rock’s sixth straight win.

* Keep an eye on Hasbrouck Heights senior RB Seth Scalvino. His 73-yard TD run gave the Aviators a 21-14 win against Cresskill. He has rushed for a team-high 672 yards and nine TDs in seven games.

* Lodi senior QB Steven Villa produced his third 200-yard rushing game of the season in a 42-35 loss to Palisades Park/Leonia. Villa gained 246 yards and scored a TD on 27 carries to up his season totals to 1,158 yards and 10 TDs on 134 carries. He also completed five of seven passes for 80 yards and a TD.

* Despite its 33-32 loss at Waldwick/Midland Park, Manchester (3-4) has a chance to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2003. The Falcons need Lyndhurst to lose to Pompton Lakes and Dover to lose to Hanover Park on Friday night, and must beat Elmwood Park on Saturday to secure the eighth spot in North 2, Group 2.

* Pompton Lakes senior DL Ryan Gosiker produced three sacks in the Cardinals’ 20-14 loss to New Milford.

* Senior RB Tyshaun Horton scored five TDs and a two-point conversion for Wallington in a 40-20 win over Emerson. Horton tied the school record for most TDs in a game and established a school record for individual points in a game (32).

* Wood-Ridge senior LB Josh Paez’s eight tackles in a 28-22 win against Queen of Peace increased his team-leading total to 73 through seven games. He also picked off a pass for a second straight game, which he returned 35 yards for a TD.
