The NJIC regular season concluded in Week 6 and here were the two biggest standouts in Week 6:

OFFENSE

Piotr Partyla, Lyndhurst, RB, Sr.

Partyla continued his huge senior season by averaging more than 24 yards per carry in Lyndhurst’s 49-0 win over Elmwood Park. Nearly half of his nine rushes went for touchdowns, with his final stat line reading as follows: 9 carries for 218 yards and four touchdowns. Partyla has eye-popping numbers through his team’s undefeated 6-0 start, now with 126 carries for 1,207 yards and 17 touchdowns.



DEFENSE

Jason Polons, Butler, WR/DB, Sr.

Polons did it all for Butler as the Bulldogs exploded for 35 second-half points en route to a 71-26 decision over Becton. The senior skill player tallied two interceptions (one for a 20-yard pick six), a fumble recovery and three tackles on the defensive side. On offense, he came down with four catches for 89 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
