CARLOS PEPIN

Class: Senior      Age: 17

Accomplishment: Pepin led the Rams to a 3-0 week. The forward posted 28 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists in the 65-64 win over Rutherford. He had 15 points and 11 rebounds, including hitting the game-winning shot at the buzzer for his only basket of the second half to lift Lodi to a 56-54 win over Glen Rock, and had 24 points, nine rebounds and three steals in the 60-55 victory over Hawthorne, helping the Rams erase a four-point halftime deficit.

“He’s an exceptional player, not only in the fact that he scores a lot, but he’s an excellent passer. Whether he’s scoring or not, we got to get the ball in his hands because he’s going to find the open man. He makes everybody better.”
