The Road to the Conference Championship

The NJIC announced the projected schedule Saturday for its inaugural playoffs.

Rutherford, which won the Colonial division title, will host Liberty division champion Pompton Lakes on Friday at 7 p.m., in one semifinal game.

In the other semifinal, Hasbrouck Heights, which won the Meadowlands title, will host Patriot winner Becton, also at 7 p.m.

The conference championship and third-place games are scheduled to be played on Nov. 4 or Nov. 5, depending on the outcome of the semifinals.

The teams who did not advance to the semifinals will play crossover games against teams that finished in the corresponding spot in the standings.

GLEN ROCK 17, LODI 0 (at Lodi): Ryan Dooner scored on a 10-yard run in the first quarter, while Colin McDevitt rushed for an 8-yard touchdown in the third as Glen Rock won its third straight. Robert Ray drilled a 48-yard field goal for the Panthers.

RUTHERFORD 33, MANCHESTER 6 (at Haledon): Running back Kevin Kosakowski rushed for three touchdowns to help the Bulldogs stay undefeated.

Kosakowski scored on runs of 3, 76 and 19 yards. Quarterback Tom Reid had an 18-yard scoring run, and he threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Laris Mulic in the fourth quarter.

Quazier Dailey rushed for a 2-yard score in the second for Manchester’s only touchdown.

HARRISON 35, NEW MILFORD 28 (at Harrison) — Mike O’Donnell completed 14 of 18 passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns with one interception, and carried 13 times for 144 yards and a TD as the Blue Tide (5-1) topped the Knights (4-2). Christian Correa had 129 yards and three touchdowns on 22 attempts for New Milford.

WALLINGTON 21, BOGOTA 14 (at Wallington) — Robbie Radlove rushed for a pair of 2-yard touchdowns to lift the Panthers (2-4). Michael Martinez returned a punt 65 yards for a TD and caught an 8-yard scoring pass from Andrew Miller for the Buccaneers (0-6).

PARK RIDGE 14, EMERSON 0 (at Emerson) — Ray Tomatsu ran for 143 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries to lead the Owls (5-1) over the Cavos (4-3).

SADDLE BROOK 14, SECAUCUS 0 (at Secaucus) — Billy Foley had a 2-yard touchdown rush and Vinny Camilleri scored on an 8-yard run to key the Falcons (4-2) against the Patriots (2-4).

POMPTON LAKES 41, LYNDHURST 0 (at Lyndhurst) — Drew Flynn (25 yards) and Nick McDonald (65) each returned an interception for a second-quarter touchdown as the Cardinals (6-0) took a 21-0 halftime lead over the Golden Bears (3-4).

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS 48, RIDGEFIELD 6 (at Ridgefield) — Nick Monahan rushed seven times for 137 yards and two touchdowns, and Frank Quatrone had 99 yards and two TDs on only two carries as the Aviators (6-0) topped the Royals (0-6).

CRESSKILL 42, NORTH ARLINGTON 0 (at North Arlington) — John Connelly had punt return touchdowns of 56 and 30 yards in the first quarter as the Cougars (4-2) jumped out to a 21-0 lead over the Vikings (1-6). Antonio Lora carried seven times for 87 yards and two TDs.

WOOD-RIDGE 57, WEEHAWKEN 12 (at Wood-Ridge) — Mike Giancaspro passed for 161 yards and four touchdowns, and added 54 rushing yards and two scores to power the Blue Devils (4-2) over the Indians (1-5).
