Bogota boys cross-country adds to a memorable beginning

At the Passaic Coaches Invitational on Saturday, Danny Daurio continued his torrid start to the cross-country season by placing first and tying teammate James Draney in the boys individual race for Group 1.

Pompton Lakes girls make some noise on trail

Katie Andrews placed third Saturday in the Group 1 girls race at the Passaic Coaches Invitational with a time of 22:04. Pompton Lakes finished third overall.

Dwight-Englewood girls volleyball continues strong start

The Lady Bulldogs (6-2) have won five consecutive matches and sit in second place in the always-competitive Liberty division.

Sisters Autumn and Audry Leak lead the team — and the county — in kills.

New Milford goes pink In October

The Knights will commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness in a variety of ways. The girls tennis team will use pink tennis balls and wear pink, including pink bows, sweatbands and jewels, when they play Weehawken on Oct. 5.

The boys and girls soccer teams will use a pink ball during their home games, and the girls will be wearing pink socks. The cheerleaders will use pink and white pompoms during football games as well as wearing pink/white bows.
