HAS HEIGHTS 5, BECTON 0: Junior catcher Gabriella Cruz went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI to help Hasbrouck Heights turn back Becton, 5-0, in an NJIC Meadowlands Division softball game Monday at McKenzie Field in East Rutherford.

Freshman right-hander Olivia Marinelli threw a four-hitter and also had two RBI for the Aviators (13-3), the No. 24 team in The Record Top 25. Junior right-hander Kaitlyn O’Shea gave up seven hits for Becton (7-7).

WALDWICK 6, EMERSON 4 (at Waldwick): Freshman pitcher Ashley Buschgans had a triple and three RBI and also picked up the win as the No. 25 Warriors (14-3) won their sixth in a row in a Patriot Division game. Junior third baseman Michelle Durocher had two RBI for No. 23 Emerson (11-6).

WALLINGTON 9, ST. MARY 8, 8 inns., (at Rutherford): Senior Patty Carr had a double,triple and four RBI to lead the Panthers past the Gaels in a Meadowlands Division game. Junior Miranda Negron had a triple and three RBI for St. Mary, which led 8-6 after six innings.

NEW MILFORD 13, SECAUCUS 3 (at Secaucus): Justine Ricciardelli had three RBI to propel the No. 22 Knights (12-4), who had 20 hits. Caitlyn Magala (double) and Emily Sailer each had two RBI for New Milford.
