The Bogota High School Athletic Hall of Fame is set for Friday, June 16 at 6 p.m. at Bogota High School when 18 athletes who graduated between 1971 and 2002, three coaches and four state championship teams are honored at an induction ceremony and dinner.

The 1960 boys cross-country state group 2 and Bergen County championship team will be honored along the 1990 group 1 state champ boys basketball and the 1994 and 1996 girls cross-country teams, winners of group 1 state titles.

The class includes coaches Brad DiRupo (the current athletic director and volleyball and softball coach); Dave Moore (long time middle school basketball coach and former high school principal) and Tom Trochanowski (long time varsity boys basketball coach).

The athletes to be honored include four girls who were all-Bergen basketball players who also played in the Bergen-Passaic All-Star Classic: Kaitlin Bergen, Nicole Carfagno, Alison Marino and Lisa Sirico, and state track champions John Sereno (long jump); Marie Remmiggio (shot put) and Jeff Clark (cross-country).
