All through Immaculate Conception’s season, and especially in its state tournament run, the Blue Wolves’ lineup has consistently produced from top to bottom.

Immaculate Conception did it again in the TOC semifinals.

The Blue Wolves hit. And hit. And hit.

Jeff Horohonich’s team scored five runs in the second inning and continued to tack on from there as fifth-seeded Immaculate Conception defeated No. 1 Egg Harbor, 13-1, in five innings.

“They were amazing hitting tonight,” Horohonich said. “They made great adjustments, everybody. They’re just on a roll right now. Hopefully we could do it for one more game.”

Immaculate Conception finished with 15 hits against the Eagles, which entered the night 23-0.

The Blue Wolves scored five runs in the second, two in the third, four in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Freshman left-fielder Angela Lignelli was outstanding, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI. Freshman second baseman Jaden Farhat was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Jaszmyn Mosley, Brianna Ramos and Kayla Robert each drove in two runs, while Gabby Fredette had one RBI.

Sophomore pitcher Caylee English was stellar, allowing four hits with two strikeouts.
