The last week of girls basketball action featured standout performances for teams across New Jersey, including the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference.
Each week, NJ Advance Media will select five Players of the Week in every conference, highlighting the best individual efforts in that area.
Gia Mandel, Emerson Boro, Sr.
Mandel averaged a double-double this past week at 11.8 points and 10.8 rebounds but she also dished out 4.5 assists and recorded 3.2 steals. Her biggest game came in a hard-fought win over Cresskill where she scored a game-high 18 points and pulled down 14 rebounds with five assists.
Montana Nicks, Dwight-Englewood, Jr

Paulina Paris, Saddle River Day, Sr.
Among the top players in the entire state, Paris continues to show she’s an elite scorer at all three levels of the basketball court as well as contributing as a playmaker and on defense. This week was no different as she averaged 19 points, four rebounds, 5.7 assists and 5.7 steals per game.
Katie Reiner, Becton, Fr.

Katie Weber, Glen Rock, Sr
