Lyndhurst track and field moved up to Group 2 for the first time in 21 years this spring, and with it, coach Tom Shoebridge had his team ready.
The 36th-year head coach led Lyndhurst to third place at the North 2, Group 2 championships, five major meet titles and an undefeated dual meet record, making Shoebridge The Record boys track Coach of the Year.
“We didn’t do anything different this year,” Shoebridge said. “We want our kids, before anything else, to be good people and individuals. If you do that with class, we’re champions.”
