Before guiding the Dominican team, he was an assistant coach of the New York Magic of the W-USL for three years. He also was assistant men’s coach at Felician College for three seasons.
His previous scholastic experience was at Wayne Hills High School, where he was the head girls coach for four seasons and boys assistant for two years. He was named the Passaic County Coach of the Year in 2005, when he guided the team to the Passaic County and NBIL championships.
He coached and was head trainer of the Mahwah Elite U-16 girls team for three years.
Ozrek is a graduate of Wayne Hills. He played two years of soccer at Ohio State University and then played professionally in Germany for seven years. A 2004 graduate of William Paterson University, Ozrek received a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics.
He currently teaches mathematics at Ramapo High School.
