Freshman Carly Wells scored the game-winning goal with four minutes remaining in regulation to lift Cresskill to a 2-1 victory over Saddle River Day in a NJIC Patriot division girls soccer clash Tuesday in Cresskill.

Wells’ goal came from 12 yards out on a through ball from fellow freshman Jillian Fahy. Emily Wells scored for the Cougars in the first half. Michaela McMahon scored for the Rebels and goalie Michaela Robinson made nine saves.

POMPTON LAKES 2, ELMWOOD PARK 0 (at Elmwood Park): Danielle Jenkin and Carlyn Salus both scored in the second half and Danielle Lucca made seven saves to preserve the shutout for the Cardinals.

LYNDHURST 4, LEONIA 0 (at Leonia): Jessica Faliace had two goals and Amanda Fulcher finished with a goal and two assists to lead the Golden Bears to an NJIC Liberty Division win.

DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD 8, RIDGEFIELD 0 (at Ridgefield): Taylor Krakower finished with five goals and an assist and Katie Park pitched in two goals for the Bulldogs.
