EAST RUTHERFORD – Hasbrouck Heights remained perfect.
Senior quarterback Frank Quatrone ran for three touchdowns, and the Aviators’ defense capped off a stellar season with another stellar showing, as Hasbrouck Heights defeated New Milford, 30-12, in the North 1, Group 1 final Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
This was the Aviators’ first sectional title since 2007, when they also defeated the Knights for the title. Hasbrouck Heights ended its season a perfect 11-0.
Quatrone (295 rushing yards on 24 carries) sealed the win with a 51-yard touchdown run with less than two minutes remaining in the game.
New Milford senior running back Christian Correa posted another huge showing, running for 246 yards on 28 carries.
