The Leonia girls knocked Rutherford from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 104-66 verdict in an NJIC showdown Jan. 15. Leonia is 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference. Rutherford is 7-1 (conference and overall).
For Leonia, Catalina Castellon won the 100 and 200 free and fueled the 200 and 400 free relays, while Stacey Chung won the 100 fly and 100 back and swam on the winning medley and 200 free relays.
