* Becton senior WR Seven Strong scored TDs on his only two receptions from senior QB Michael Bolwell in the win over Wallington on plays that covered 57 and 29 yards. Strong has 21 receptions for 372 yards and eight TDs. He has six carries for 187 yards (31.2 average) and three rushing TDs for the Wildcats (6-0), who went through the NJIC Patriot Division unbeaten.

* Hawthorne evened its record at 3-3 by winning a road game against Queen of Peace. Senior Andre Jackson rushed for 94 yards and two TDs. Senior QB Luke Sousa threw two TD passes for the Bears, whose defense was led by sophomore DB TJ Palmer (two interceptions).

* Garfield recorded 218 rushing yards in its overtime win against Manchester. The bulk of the production came from junior Dwaune Thorpe, who ran for 113 yards and two TDs on 29 carries.

* Glen Rock senior LB Matt Loscalzo finished with 11 tackles, including two for losses and two sacks, in a win over Palisades Park/Leonia.

* Hasbrouck Heights scored 48 points for the second consecutive game. The Aviators have tallied at least 40 in four of their five victories. They have allowed just 26 points overall.

* Palisades Park/Leonia senior LB Andrew Lee had eight tackles and a sack in a loss to Glen Rock. Senior OLB Philip Walsh chipped in with six tackles and junior Sayid Elmoudni ran 16 times for 71 yards and a TD.

* Waldwick/Midland Park had four players record at least 40 rushing yards in its win over Lodi. The group included junior Alessio Cerrito (100), senior Matt Messner (81), senior QB Garrett King (53) and sophomore Sam Rossnagel (42).

* The sites for the NJIC semifinal games will be announced at a meeting at 6 p.m. Saturday at Hasbrouck Heights. The schedules for all NJIC teams for Weeks 7 and 8 also will be announced.
