Becton’s bats were explosive last week as the Wildcats scored a total of 34 runs in wins over Park Ridge, Wallington, Wood-Ridge and St. Mary. Senior P Kaitlyn O’Shea was a key part of that success, as she gave up just eight earned runs in 27 innings. She struck out 25 batters and walked five. O’Shea also went 4-for-13 at the plate.
Immaculate Conception senior INF had a huge performance in the Blue Wolves BCT first-round win over Fort Lee. She went 2-for-4 and recorded her 100th career hit on an RBI single in the third inning. Moran capped the day with a grand slam in the fourth.
