IHA 11, SADDLE BROOK 3 (at Park Ridge): Junior first baseman Emilie Cieslak had a double and four RBI and junior outfielder Victoria Casey had a home run and three RBI to lead the Blue Eagles (12-0), the No. 2 team in The Record’s Top 25 rankings, past No. 14 Saddle Brook.

Olivia Sprofera pitched a six-hitter for IHA and Darian Kraeuter had two triples and Sarah Esposito had a triple and an RBI for the Falcons.

 

OLD TAPPAN 10, NEW MILFORD 2 (at Park Ridge): Sophomore Julie Rodriguez struck out 11 to help the No. 3 Golden Knights past the Lady Knights.

RIDGEFIELD PARK 8, WALDWICK 1 (at Park Ridge): Dorian Capurso went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and three runs scored to lift the No. 20 Scarlets past the Warriors.

Danielle Sinclair threw a six-hitter for Ridgefield Park.

BOGOTA 10, DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD 4 (at Park Ridge): Leadoff hitter Leah Pimentel went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, four stolen bases and two RBI and Emily Vasquez had three RBI to lift the Buccaneers past the Lady Bulldogs.

Madison Heck threw a five-hitter, striking out eight and walking two, to get the win.

HAWTHORNE 16, PASSAIC VALLEY 6 (at Hawthorne): Nicole D’Ascoli drove in three runs to lead the sixth-seeded Bears past the 11th-seeded Hornets in a Passaic County tournament first round game. Emily Skinner had a double, triple and two RBI and Morgan Dittfield (double), Bailey Hansen (triple) and Lindsay Graham each had two RBI for Hawthorne.

Cielle Tousignant threw a seven-hitter for the Bears, who scored seven runs in the top of the fifth to improve upon a 9-6 lead. Gabby Liberti and Tia Rillo had two RBI apiece for Passaic Valley.

NJIC CONTESTS

RUTHERFORD 4, HAWTHORNE 3 (at Rutherford): Shannon Clare smacked a two-out single up the middle in the bottom of the seventh inning to score Giulia Cammarano from second base with the winning run as Rutherford handed Hawthorne its first loss in the NJIC Colonial Division.

Rutherford, keyed by a triple and two RBI from Kathleen Nowinski, had taken a 3-1 lead into the top of the seventh. But Hawthorne tied the score, 3-3, to set up Clare’s heroics in the bottom of the inning.

LEONIA 2, LYNDHURST 0 (at Lyndhurst): Ursula Castiblanco threw a one-hitter and Alexia Capote drove in a run in a two-run fifth inning for the Lions. Castiblanco faced just three over the minimum, giving up a two-out single in the fourth inning, to lead Leonia to its fifth win.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS 7, WEEHAWKEN 2 (at Weehawken): Diana Torres drove in two runs and scored two runs as the Aviators won a key showdown in the Meadowlands Division. Jessica Gasparino struck out seven and walked just two, scattering five hits.
