Class: Senior. Age: 17
Accomplishment: Ziltz, a senior captain and outside hitter, had 53 kills, 19 digs, 31 service points and six blocks to help Park Ridge to a 4-0 week. She also recorded her 600th career kill in the win over Elmwood Park during the week.
“She is the most humble person I have on the court. She puts the team and volleyball in front of everything she does. She is completely selfless and she is out there to make sure everybody does their best part, and then she worries about herself last. She’s truly a leader on the court and is just remarkable. It’s not about the sport itself, but about the family she builds on the court and supporting everybody and making sure everybody is positive and energetic.
