Yep, another weekend, another big slate of softball tournaments.

Plus, maybe, just maybe some history.

Currently, Immaculate Conception Coach Jeff Horohonich is sitting on 633 wins, if my records are correct (and sometimes they are). The all-time leader in North Jersey for victories is the great Tom Eagleson, who won 634 at North Bergen before retiring this past year.

Today, Immaculate Conception is scheduled to play a pair of games in the Black and Gold Tournament in Cedar Grove. My math tells me that two wins gives “H” 635 wins. The tournament also features IHA playing Cedar Grove at 3 p.m.
