It was a tough week recently for Frank “Butch” Servideo who said goodbye to Lyndhurst school district after being the Bears head baseball coach for almost three decades and also the district’s athletic director for several years.

With the loss to Caldwell in the state sectional semifinals in June, it ended Servideo’s 29th year as the township high school’s head baseball coach and also a career at the school.

During Servideo’s 29 years as head baseball coach, he was able to build Lyndhurst into one of the best small school programs in Bergen County.
