Emerson, Cresskill are stride-for-stride

Both Emerson and Cresskill are 5-0 to begin the season, sitting atop the N1G1 power points leaderboard 12.411 and 12.045 points, respectively.

John Kennedy and John Piccirillo are each averaging 23.2 points per contest for Emerson. Luke Kopczynski of Cresskill has produced a double-double in four of five games.

400 wins for Brian Gaccione

St. Mary (Ruth.) head coach Brian Gaccione recorded the 400th win of his career on Dec. 28 in the Jack Stone Shootout semifinals vs. Lyndhurst.

The Gaels went on to win the tournament with a 66-60 tally over Columbia on Dec. 30. This season, St. Mary (5-2) has been led by Matt Kennedy’s 21.9 points per game.

Waldwick’s dynamic duo

The Warriors are 5-1 to start the season behind electric scoring performances from Andrew Del Rey (24.2 PPG) and Antonio Miccinilli (21.8).

Del Rey already has a pair of 30-plus point performances, while Miccinilli has gone for 20 or more three times, including a 37-point effort.
