Manny De La Hoz, Weehawken, So., RB/DB

Weehawken takes turns featuring its stars and in Week 5 it was the sophomore standout in De La Hoz leading the way. He finished with 252 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries, threw a 30-yard score and made two tackles in the Indians’ 60-27 victory over Bogota on Saturday in Weehawken. The 60 points ties a school record and the rushing total brings De La Hoz to 63-562-5 on the year.

Evan Kuhl, Lodi, Jr., QB

Kuhl played an instrumental part in Lodi picking up its first win of the season. Kuhl threw for 151 yards and four touchdowns, while showcasing dual-threat abilities by rushing for 81 yards on 15 carries in Lodi’s 26-20 win over Garfield. He also threw a 2-point conversion pass to Ivan Larcier in the second quarter.

Niles Randall, Palisades Park, Sr., RB/DB

Randall delivered on the ground for Palisades Park in its first win of the season. The senior racked up 90 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries in the Tigers’ 37-0 victory against Harrison on Thursday. Palisades Park was good for 336 yards as a team on the night.
