GIRLS – NJIC TOURNAMENT
NEW MILFORD 52, ST. MARY 43 (at New Milford): Junior Natalie Miller had 16 points, including four three-pointers, as the top-seeded Knights advanced to the NJIC tournament final with a win over the fourth-seeded Gaels. New Milford moves on to face third-seeded Emerson in the final.
BOYS – Bergen Invitational Tournament
RIDGEFIELD PARK 52, LODI 45: Senior guard Isaiah Drakeford had 27 points, six assists and five rebounds as fourth-seeded Ridgefield Park upset top-seeded Lodi in the BIT Meadowlands Region. Sophomore guard David Feliz added 14 points for the Scarlets. Ridgefield Park had a 24-17 lead at halftime and held on in the second half for the win.
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS 57, DUMONT 45: Senior guard Kyle Baker scored 22 points, including four three-pointers, as second-seeded Hasbrouck Heights defeated third-seeded Dumont in the BIT Meadowlands Region. Junior guard Niko Regus added 21 points for Hasbrouck Heights in the win.
BERGENFIELD 49, EMERSON 36: Senior guard Leonard Bollosa scored a game-high 17 points as third-seeded Bergenfield defeated second-seeded Emerson in the BIT Monument Region. Senior forward Kyle Henderson added seven points and 10 rebounds for Bergenfield.
NV/DEMAREST 64, SADDLE BROOK 38: Junior guard Logan Riscick had 20 points, including six three-pointers, as top-seeded NV/Demarest defeated fourth-seeded Saddle Brook in the BIT Monument Region. Riscick hit four of those three-pointers as a part of a 22-9 second quarter for NV/Demarest that opened up the lead.
