In an electric atmosphere, the third-seeded Knights rode their formula of clutch shooting, stifling defense and balanced scoring to a 66-47 victory over No. 7 Becton in the semifinals of the North 1, Group 1 state girls basketball tournament Friday.New Milford will host Midland Park in the title game Monday. Natalie Miller finished with a game-high 22 points for the Knights. She had a sizzling shooting display in the second half, draining five of her six three-pointers after the break. Alexis Monroy finished with 16 points for New Milford.

North 1, Group 1

MIDLAND PARK 43, CRESSKILL 26 (at Midland Park): Senior Thalia Ghalam had 11 points as the fourth-seeded Panthers defeated the eighth-seeded Cougars. The Panthers, who face third-seeded New Milford on Monday, outscored the Cougars, 17-8, in the fourth quarter.

North 2, Group 1

SECAUCUS 59, ARTS 41 (at Newark): Sophomore guard Lindsey Mack had 25 points as the third-seeded Patriots defeated the second-seeded Jaguars. Kristina Ulrich added 14 points for Secaucus, which outscored Arts, 31-19, in the first half. Senior guard Kristina Ulrich added 14 points and seven assists for the Patriots, who face top-seeded University in the title game on Monday.
