Greg Dahl’s double with the bases loaded in the fifth inning helped St. Mary propel to a 10-8 victory over St. Joseph in baseball on Saturday afternoon in Montvale.
Senior first baseman Karllo Pozo hit a two-run home run later in the inning to cap off a seven-run fifth inning and a 10-3 lead for the Gaels (5-2).
The Green Knights (6-2) scored five in the bottom of the seventh, but could not complete the comeback.
