* Bailey Wyrostek of Wood-Ridge got her 100th hit in the Blue Devils’ 6-5 loss to West Orange on Saturday. The senior SS had an RBI double in the first inning for her milestone hit. Also a basketball and soccer standout, Wyrostek plans to attend Georgian Court in Lakewood and play softball in the fall.
* Park Ridge senior 1B Angela Rivera notched her 100th hit in the Owls’ 12-1 win over Palisades Park on Wednesday. She got the hit, a single, in a nine-run third and also had two RBI.
* Waldwick’s Hallie Donofrio had her 100th RBI on a first-inning single in the Warriors’ 13-1 win over Dwight Morrow on Thursday. The senior C and four-year starter also had a triple and another RBI in the game for Waldwick (15-4). She got her 100th hit in a game against Bogota on April 6.
* Saddle Brook senior LHP Taryn DiGiacomo threw a no-hitter (her fourth of the season, and also her ninth shutout) when the Falcons defeated Becton, 10-0, in a NJIC Meadowlands Division game Thursday. DiGiacomo had 13 strikeouts and no walks, and later in the week she threw a four-hitter in Saddle Brook’s 2-1 victory over Lodi.
* Junior Madison Jennerich belted a grand slam and had six RBI to help Becton past Wood-Ridge, 12-4, in an NJIC Meadowlands Division game Wednesday. Senior C Samantha Frola blasted a three-run homer in the first inning.
* Senior 2B Haley Leahy went 4-for-4 with four doubles, three runs and seven RBI to help Leonia past Harrison, 19-8, in an NJIC Liberty Division game a week ago. Sophomore SS Kallie Hanley was 2-for-3 with two walks, a triple and five RBI for the Lions.
* Senior CF Amanda Baric went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, and sophomore 3B Jackie Lara had a triple and went 3-for-4 to lead Ridgefield past Wayne Hills, 7-2, Saturday.
* Junior right-hander Sophie Chong threw a four-hitter, struck out 11 and went 2-for-3 with a home run to help Weehawken past St. Mary, 12-1, on Wednesday in an NJIC Meadowlands Division game. Her fraternal twin, Samantha — a left-handed-throwing catcher — had a double and two RBI in the game.
