* Harrison was eliminated from the Hudson County tournament semifinals Sunday at Bayonne when the fourth-seeded Blue Tide were defeated by top-seeded Kearny, 3-0. However, Harrison (13-3) will be one of the favorites in Group 2 when the state tournament begins in early November.

 * Secaucus dealt Harrison its first NJIC Division Liberty loss of the season Monday when the Patriots surprised the Blue Tide, 4-1, behind two assists from Robert Walshe and a goal and an assist from Sean Boyle.

* Senior Conor McDonnell scored three goals and had two assists and sophomore Colin McDonnell had two goals and two assists for Bogota leading the Buccaneers past Palisades Park, 8-1, on Monday.

* Senior forward Faisal Haddad scored in the first scheduled 10-minute sudden-death overtime to give Wood-Ridge a dramatic 3-2 victory over Becton in an NJIC Meadowlands Division game Monday. Haddad and Ariel Silva each had a goal and an assist, Thomas Fischkelta had a goal and Joseph Sartori made 13 saves for the Blue Devils.
