Junior forward Madison Noordeloos finished a block shy of a triple-double as Hawthorne advanced in the Passaic County girls basketball tournament with a 36-27 victory over Pompton Lakes in the play-in round at Hawthorne. Noordeloos finished with a game-high 19 points, along with 10 rebounds, nine blocks and six steals.
Hawthorne, the 12-seed in the tournament, will play fifth-seeded Wayne Hills on Feb. 6.
