In the world of Park Ridge athletics – not to mention the DiMeo household – that’s the stuff of headlines. It may be even more newsworthy than the senior right fielder’s red-hot start at the plate.
“Oh, I’m definitely injury prone,” DiMeo said with a big smile Tuesday morning while getting ready to work at a youth baseball clinic at Park Ridge High School. “Everyone in my family keeps saying they’re going to put me in a bubble to keep me safe.”
