The senior second baseman, who is hitting .635, cracked a two-run homer in the fifth inning Friday to power the Bucs to a 9-0 win over North Arlington in NJIC crossover action. That extended his hitting streak to 12 games.
Junior right-hander Michael Martinez struck out three and allowed one hit in five innings for the win. Wilson Richardson added two RBI.
ST. MARY 13, BECTON 0 (at East Rutherford): Freshman Kenny Quijano struck out 11 in five innings to win his first varsity start for the No. 3 Gaels in the Meadowlands Division. It was the fifth straight win for St. Mary, which had three RBI apiece from Manny Andujar, Anthony Guarino and Greg Dahl.
