A pair of Cresskill HS baseball players have made formal commitments to continue their careers in college.
Trevor Romeo has committed to play for Brookdale Community College, a national JUCO powerhouse that was ranked No. 2 in the nation at one point this past spring. Trevor, a 6-5, 220-pound shortstop was just named first-team All Bergen County and was selected to play in the NJ Senior Top 100 All-Star Game Tuesday at Diamond Nation where he will play for the Northeast NJ squad.
East Assogna committed to St. Thomas Aquinas, a Division 2 program in Rockland County. Assogna was a first-team All League catcher and threw out 21 of 25 potential base stealers this past spring.
