ELMWOOD PARK 1, RAMSEY 0: Elmwood Park’s late-season turnaround became even sweeter Monday when the 13th-seeded Crusaders shocked fourth-seeded Ramsey with a 1-0 road victory in the first round of the North 1, Group 2 boys soccer state tournament. Christian Andrach had 15 saves to help Andrew Andrach’s second-half goal stand up.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS 7, NEW MILFORD 2 (at Hasbrouck Heights): The Aviators’ high-powered offense stayed hot as Scott LiVecchi recorded a hat trick and Emiland Elizaj added another two goals during a North 1, Group 1 first-round game.

EMERSON 5, NORTH WARREN 0 (at Emerson): Jack Dunican kept his magical senior season going by notching his 23rd goal and assisting on two more as the second-seeded Cavos easily advanced in North 1, Group 1. Emerson’s offense broke out in the second half when five players scored a goal apiece.

HAWTHORNE 2, PASCACK HILLS 1 (at Hawthorne): Second-half goals by George Nadirashvili and Collin Mullanaphy helped the fifth-seeded Bears advance in North 1, Group 2 after trailing by a goal at halftime.

SECAUCUS 4, Hoboken 3 (at Secaucus): Gabriel Chaves had two assists for fourth-seeded Secaucus in a 4-3 victory over 13th-seeded Hoboken in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 1 Tournament in Secaucus. Tristan Paine, David Perez, Anthony Reyes and Colin Walshe all scored for Secaucus. William Postel finished the game with 12 saves.
