The NJIC crowned three division champions this week. In winning the Meadowlands at Bowlero Wallington on Monday, North Arlington became the first team in the division to post a perfect points record (112-0) since the NJIC was formed in 2010.

At Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, Pompton Lakes (98-14) earned the Colonial title for the fourth time in five years. The Cardinals are the only other NJIC team with perfect seasons in points – they went 80-0 in 2013-14 and 2014-15 when matches were two games.

In the Patriot Division, Leonia (87-25) edged Harrison (86-26) and Palisades Park (85-27) for their first title since 2014. Both Leonia and Palisades Park prevailed, 7-0, in Tuesday’s finale at Parkway, while Harrison went down to the wire with Park Ridge – which took the third & final game from the Blue Tide by nine pins to win the match, 5-2.

A big thank you to NJIC Chairman Steve Perrotta, Leonia AD, who chairs this sport for the Conference and does a stellar job !
