Blue Devils’ goalie Philip Iacovelli stopped eight shots to record his third clean sheet in four games. The series had been rather one-sided since the teams broke their co-op in 2013, as the Aviators won seven straight after tying the opening matchup.

Wallington at Hasbrouck Heights, Wednesday at 4: First place in the Meadowlands Division will be decided in this game. Both teams sit at 5-0-1 in league play and were co-champions in 2015 and 2016. These teams feature two of the state’s top scorers in the Aviators’ Emiland Elezaj (17 goals) and Panthers’ Nick Zielonka (12).
