► Park Ridge sophomore Joe Mahoney is pacing the NJIC in average at 232.6, just ahead of McKenna at 231.2.

► Becton’s Trevor Deliantis (220.9), Lyndhurst’s Michael Lavell (206.4) and Hawthorne’s Hunter Perry (204.9) also averaged 200-plus in the NJIC for December.

►After shooting a perfect 300 in North Arlington’s opener, senior Eric McKenna was named NorthJersey.com Athlete of the Week. He also earned AOW for baseball in the spring, putting him on a short list of athletes to garner the honor twice in the same year.
