Carmosino added yet another postseason walk-off hit, but his playoff pitching was equally impressive: 4-0 with a save, a 1.45 ERA, no walks and 14 K in 19⅓ innings. Overall, he hit .449 with 32 RBI and 32 runs scored and was 7-3 on the mound.
OF: Kenny Quijano
St. Mary / senior
Quijano played outfield when not pitching and topped the Gaels with 23 RBI, batting .356. Yet his mound presence was undeniable. The Rider-bound righty went 9-2 with a 1.46 ERA in 62⅓ innings, striking out 91 (12 each in the sectional and state finals).
