Boys Basketball Players of the Week

Steven Faussette,

Hasbrouck Heights, Sr., Guard

Faussette is the quarterback on the court for Hasbrouck Heights and has stepped up even more as a senior this winter. He just dropped 37 points last week in a 69-58 win over Wood-Ridge and also came through with 10 rebounds and seven assists in that game. Overall this season, Faussette is averaging 23.8 points per game – one of the top averages in the entire state.

Chris Eelman,

Hawthorne Christian, Sr., Forward

The senior is averaging a double-double through four games and in the last week alone, Eelman put up 15 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. Eelman also has stepped up on defense and has 11 blocks so far in 2021. He blocked three shots in a game against Butler last week.
