Mahoney closed a superb career with the No. 1 average in North Jersey (224.9), which helped his team repeat as division champ and up its win streak to 38 matches. The 2019 NJSIAA runner-up placed third at this year’s Bergen County tournament, propelling the Owls to their first championship.
