Albert Ruff – Harrison High School
After a bumpy 3-4 start to the season, Harrison got things turned around and capped its 2021 season with an 8-3 stretch run. Albert Ruff played a big role in that. He led the team with 133 kills in the 18-game season. His 14 blocks were also a team high.
During the team’s rocky start, Ruff averaged six kills per set. The senior took his game up from there. That average jumped to 8.27 across the final 11 games of the season.
