NJIC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK                                                                    

 

Jessica Balala, Midland Park, Sr.

Midland Park played just one game this past week — a 36-33 loss to Cresskill — but Balala stood out for Midland Park. She posted a double-double by scoring 16 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the loss.

Erin Fahy, Cresskill, So

Fahy is getting better and better as the season goes along. The sophomore averaged a double-double this past week at 16 points and 12.3 rebounds per game as Cresskill posted a 3-1 record. Her biggest performance came in a win over Ridgefield Park where she scored 28 points and grabbed 18 rebounds.

Ella Madden, Park Ridge, Sr

Madden posted eye-popping numbers for Park Ridge this past week. The senior averaged 19.7 points and 19.7 rebounds per game to go along with 2.3 steals per contest. Madden helped Park Ridge to wins over Palisades Park, Wood-Ridge and Dwight-Morrow.

Ella Marchesani, Saddle Brook, Jr.

One of the top scorers in the NJIC, Marchesani averaged 24.7 points per game this past week, helping Saddle Brook in wins over Wood-Ridge, Becton and North Arlington. She scored a game-high 31 points in the 48-30 win over Becton.

Ruby Silva, Manchester Regional, So.

Manchester Regional has struggled to start the season and went 0-2 this past week, but Silva still put in a good performance in a loss to Eastern Christian. The sophomore scored a game-high 20 points.
