Players of the week

Ryan Clark, Midland Park, Sr., RHP: Clark, who is a second-year starter, needed only 56 pitches to complete a five-inning, no-hitter against Cresskill last week. Clark finished with seven strikeouts.

Matthew Mulato, Leonia, Jr., INF.:Mulato, who had 18 hits all of last season, had five in his first seven at-bats of 2022. He had four hits, four runs scored and three RBI in a victory over Harrison. He added one his and two runs scored in a win over New Milford.

Adam Juchkin, St. Mary (Ruth.), Sr., RHP: In two appearances last week Juchkin threw seven scoreless inning for the undefeated Gaels. He thew a five-inning, no-hitter in a 13–0 win over Kearny with 10 strikeouts and a walk.

Joey Rovito, Weehawken, Jr., RHP: Rovito allowed only two hits with 12 strikeouts in an 11-1 win over University Charter last week. The three-year starter gave up only three walks his his 70-pitch outing.
