Mia Pimentel, Bogota, senior

Pimentel returns after landing on the Third Team All-State list one year ago. Producing 723 assists, 126 digs and 50 aces, Pimentel is a key piece to Bogota’s success this season alongside Caviness. The Bucs have a strong roster and it will be up to Pimentel to distribute the ball at the right time.

Hannah Tobin, Rutherford, senior

Tobin was a Second Team All-Group 1 selection one year ago, helping Rutherford to 23 victories and an undefeated divisional record (14-0) behind her 343 assists and 129 digs. The Bulldogs lose a couple of major contributors to graduation, so Tobin’s experience at the varsity level will be important for Rutherford to make another deep run.

Ashanna Caviness, Bogota, senior

Bogota ran the gauntlet once more in Group 1, cruising to 27 victories and the group championship. Caviness was electric, leading the state with 432 kills. She logged 10 or more kills 25 separate times, including a season-high 21 against Emerson Boro. Caviness added 177 digs and 31 aces to land on the All-State First Team list as a junior.
