Andrew Armstrong, Pompton Lakes, Jr., M/F

Coach Rob Edgar has high expectations this season for the versatile Andrew Armstrong, a midfielder/forward who is a quality finisher and an excellent distributor who can constantly create goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates. He finished with nine goals and a whopping 16 assists last season, good enough to earn him a spot on the All-NJAC Colonial Division First Team. Armstrong finished third in assists last year among all North Jersey players.

Nick Pastula, Bergen Charter, So., F

Pastula was voted by fans as the state top boys soccer freshman player last year, posting impressive numbers that were comparable to some of the top junior and senior forwards in the conference. With 14 goals and four assists last year, Pastula earned All-NJIC Liberty Division First Team honors. With another offseason to develop his skills, Pastula could emerge as one of the best players in the conference this season.
